What is Wine & Beer Tasting?

Wine & Beer Tasting reports from wine and beer events and interviews the producers who pour at them, alongside tasting notes and features on regions, winemaking and beer. It is an ACME Productions content brand, edited by Peter Ronen and intended for adults 21 and over.

How do I find a past event, wine or producer?

Use the search at the top of every page. It looks through every story since 2009, including event names, venues and cities, producers, wines and vintages, people interviewed and dates, so a search such as "Bordeaux", "Pinot Noir" or "June 2016" works. Results can be narrowed by section, type and year.

How do I get my wine or beer featured?

Producers, importers, distributors and event organizers can request an interview feature, tasting coverage or a sponsorship through the Get featured form on the home page. Coverage is editorial and never guaranteed.

What happens during an interview?

Every interview follows the same four steps: a shot of the label and bottle, one clear question and answer with the producer, the pour, swirl and taste, and a quick tip on what to look for.

What do you produce from an event?

A written report in the journal with the producers who poured, and a library of short clips: typically 8 to 12 producer clips, an event recap, and the top bottles and trends of the day.

Do you cover beer as well as wine?

Yes. The journal and interviews cover wine regions, winemaking and aging as well as brewers, beer styles and beer making.

Why does the site ask my age?

The site is about alcohol and is intended for adults of legal drinking age, 21 and over in the United States. Your answer is stored in your own browser only; we do not receive it.

What happens to the information I send?
